The Golden Rule

There once was a proselyte who was looking to convert to Judaism. In his search he came upon a well respected scholar and demanded:

"Teach me the entire Torah while standing on one foot."

Hillel slowly raised one foot and replied:

"Do not do to others that which you do not like done to you.
This is the entire Torah; the rest is commentary.
Now, go and study."
